The wallet check
Paste a public address. Get a score, and the receipts behind it.
What you need (and what you never need)
- You need a public wallet address. That is all.
- No wallet connection, no signature, no approval and no seed phrase — ever, for analysis.
- You can check any public address, including one that is not yours.
- Connecting a wallet is optional and only proves ownership for a REKT Profile. It signs a plain text message, never a transaction.
What happens after you hit check
- 1. Address validation — the format must match a supported chain.
- 2. History read — we page through the wallet's public transaction history up to the chain's coverage cap.
- 3. Classification — each transaction becomes a BUY, SELL, TRANSFER or UNCLASSIFIED. Anything we cannot classify reliably stays UNCLASSIFIED and is excluded from trade math.
- 4. Spam filtering — dust airdrops and worthless spam mints are dropped before analysis.
- 5. Reconstruction — trades are grouped into per-token positions using weighted-average cost basis.
- 6. Pricing — every leg we can price gets a historical USD value. A leg we cannot price stays null, never zero.
- 7. Scoring — measurable metrics feed the deterministic REKT Score.
- 8. Persistence — the completed analysis is stored as a snapshot with a stable, shareable URL.
Realized P&L versus open bags
This is the single most misread part of the product, so it is worth being blunt: REKT CHECK reports what you actually sold. Paper losses on bags you still hold are not counted as damage.
Realized P&L
Money that changed hands. For every sale, realized P&L is the USD proceeds minus the weighted-average cost of exactly the quantity sold. Sell half a bag and half the cost basis is realized; the other half stays in inventory.
Net realized P&L sums every partial exit, not just closed positions. Best Realized Trade, Worst Realized Trade and Win Rate are all realized figures.
Open bags (unrealized)
Tokens still in the wallet. Their current paper value is shown as holdings context and is never mixed into realized P&L, never counted as a win or a loss, and never used as a scoring input for trade outcomes.
Closed position
A position closes only when the remaining balance falls to cycle-relative dust. Leftover inventory means the position is still open, and its remaining cost is not realized.
Which trades count
- Positions below roughly $10 of cost basis are treated as noise on Solana; beta chains use their own floor, listed on each chain page.
- Transfers in and out are not trades. They are excluded from P&L but can reduce reconstruction confidence, which is disclosed on the result.
- A position with no priceable buy leg cannot produce realized P&L and is reported as unmeasurable rather than as break-even.
- Wallets with fewer than 2 measurable trades are not scored at all.
Determinism, snapshots and refresh
- The same transaction history always produces the same realized metrics and the same score.
- A stored snapshot is reused for up to 24 hours; opening a saved result never silently rescans the chain.
- An explicit refresh is available behind a 2-minute cooldown.
- Snapshots record the engine version that produced them, so old results are never relabelled as current.
